Living Green

What is living green? I am not an expert at this, I am learning this as I go. But my take on this is that being organic is living efficiently and considerately, recyclying and preserving our planet. By decreasing our intake and output and seeking out goods that are natural, contain recycled material or using items that have been previously used or owned, we are being more considerate of our planet and our future generations.

Why should we live green? By reusing, recycling and reducing we are also saving money. Using natural and recycled materials preserves resources for our future generations.

How do we live green? We can start small and grow from there. Recycling is a good start. If you decide to garden or already do, composting is an excellent way to give back to the earth and fertilize your garden. Giving away old clothes to a local co-op or a thrift store is also a good way to start to go green as well.

Although this site is a student project, this subject is something that I truly believe in and hope that you also find it very helpful in your start to live a natural and green life!
